ฟิลิปปินส์ลุย นำ ‘ด่านลอยน้ำ’ ของจีน ออกจากพื้นที่พิพาท
ทางการฟิลิปปินส์กล่าวว่า ได้ปฏิบัติการณ์พิเศษเพื่อนำ ‘ด่านลอยน้ำ’ ของจีนออกจากพื้นที่พิพาท ซึ่งเป็นเเหล่งประมงสำคัญในทะเลจีนใต้
รอยเตอร์รายงานว่าท่าทีดังกล่าวของฟิลิปปินส์อาจเพิ่มความตึงเครียดในดินเเดนทางทะเลบริเวณนี้
เมื่อวันอาทิตย์ ฟิลิปปินส์แสดงความโกรธเกรี้ยว และเผยเเพร่ภาพที่ฝ่ายจีนส่งเรือรักษาการณ์ชายฝั่งเข้าบริเวณที่มี ‘ด่านลอยน้ำ’ ที่เป็นทุ่นลอยทรงกลมเป็นเเนวยาว ใกล้กับสันดอนสการ์โบโรห์ โชล (Scarborough Shoal)
ต่อมาที่ปรึกษาด้านความมั่นคงฟิลิปปินส์กล่าวว่าจะมีมาตรการเกี่ยวกับด่านลอยน้ำนี้ และไม่กี่ชั่วโมงจากนั้นหน่วยยามฝั่งฟิลิปปินส์กล่าวว่าได้นำ ‘ด่านลอยน้ำ’ ดังกล่าวออกไปเเล้ว
หน่วยงานดังกล่าวระบุว่าปฏิบัติการนี้ได้รับความเห็นชอบจากประธานาธิบดีเฟอร์ดินาน มากอส จูเนียร์ และคณะทำงานพิเศษด้านทะเลจีนใต้
ความตึงเครียดครั้งนี้เกิดขึ้น ขณะที่รัฐบาลมะนิลากระชับความสัมพันธ์ทางทหารกับสหรัฐฯ อย่างรวดเร็ว ซึ่งเป็นท่าทีที่ทำให้กรุงปักกิ่งไม่พอใจ

กระทรวงการต่างประเทศจีนไม่ได้กล่าวถึง ‘ด่านลอยน้ำ’ โดยตรงแต่ระบุในวันจันทร์ เพื่อปกป้องการดำเนินการของฝ่ายตนว่าเป็น “มาตรการที่จำเป็น” หลังจากที่เรือของหน่วยงานรัฐด้านการประมงของฟิลิปปินส์ “รุกล้ำ” เข้ามายังน่านน้ำของจีนในวันศุกร์
